Side Tracked... Again.

View Comments
I mentioned in one of my previous post that I have started doing the shawl of amah. However, since my globe cell purse got broken and is a little too old already (must be the yarn, it's not really that good) I decided to make me one purse again, but this time using the Cannon size 8 thread.

I love its color because it's almost the same as my phone and the way it actually fits the phone. And since the cell purse I have made for Angie isn't really that polished, I am thinking of redoing one and using a thread instead of a yarn. After all, I have a purple thread. Only problem is, it would have to wait a little more while again since I promised to make a yellow one for shobe too.

Another thing that I've made is PM's red hat. We're attending angkong's birthday celebration tomorrow so I have decided to make her a red hat to match her red dress... =)

Check it out!

What's Up?

View Comments
At last... I am done with Angie's cell purse which is very much overdue! haha!
I will be uploading the photo soon...
As usual, I just don't have much time on my hands right now.

Per my crochet, I am little by little doing the shawl I promised myself for amah, which by the way is also overdue =P

Oh well...

The Accidental Purse!

View Comments
Due to a very limited amount of time, I won't be able to write much as to how this purse came about... All I can say is that I was supposed to try out a very cute pencil case crochet pattern from the very special magazine given to me by my friend Lorie but didn't push through because of a mistake I've committed during the creation of the body... that's why I call it, The Accidental Purse!

the *plan*

So instead of the pencil case, I made it a cute small yellow-pink not the regular type purse. =p

Stitches used: Chain (Ch), Slip Stitch (Ss), Single Crochet (Sc) and Double Crochet (Dc).

Below are the photos of the finished object: *notice how the design of the cut turned out, then you'll figure out where the problem arise =D

tada!

Still, not bad at all, right?
Now I just need to figure out who to give this to...
Let me know if you'd like to have it... I'd be more than glad to give it to you! =p

Cheska's Christmas Gift to Friends...

View Comments
Last December, Cheska and I spent an overnight doing the 14 crocheted ponytail holder she gave her friends as her Christmas present. It's the same as the one I blogged about earlier.

We compared our works, our stitches, even our hooks... We really had fun crocheting together!

I do hope her friends will like her gift... After all, she specially handmade the ponytail for them.
So here are the photos taken: (too bad I wasn't able to take a photo of us together).
